Our scientists at the Institute of Vehicle Concepts research innovative vehicle concepts and technologies for road and rail. They design, construct, calculate and simulate novel drive systems, efficient energy conversion concepts and advanced lightweight construction concepts for the trains and cars of tomorrow.
In order to investigate how ecologically, economically viable or user-friendly vehicle concepts are, they also carry out analyses and evaluations in interdisciplinary collaboration. Our teams work on most research projects with a network of partners in industry and research.
